Is this an official certification?+
No. PAS is a structured rating produced by our methodology — it is not a UK Government certification. It is designed to bring consistency and confidence to appliance disclosure during a property transaction.
What if my make & model isn't in your catalogue?+
You can type it in manually. The catalogue covers the top 1,000+ UK makes & models across boilers, heat pumps, kitchen majors, batteries, EV chargers and more — but the long tail of old or imported gear isn't always there.
Can a buyer verify this is real?+
Yes. Every issued report has a unique URL on verify.propertyappliancestandard.co.uk. A buyer or agent can open it and confirm the report matches.
What if I don't have all the paperwork?+
You can still issue a report — the confidence rating just reflects what evidence you supplied. Adding more later raises the confidence rating.
How long does it take?+
About 10 minutes for a typical home. Save & resume is built in, so you can come back later if you need to find a service record or warranty.
