Recent, documented, service records up to date. Low projected costs over the next 3–5 years.
Sound
In working order with reasonable history. Some maintenance recommended within 3–5 years.
Aged or unclear
Older units or thin documentation. Higher likelihood of replacement or significant repair soon.
Unable to assess
Insufficient data. PAS will not issue a confident grade where the evidence isn't there.
